Six days until Kings Valley. Yesterday we went out and pre-rode the course (Spencer and I did one lap, Jim/everyone else did two). There aren’t any major climbs, though some of the flats are going to be really fast.
We’ve got part 2 of the Eugene Time Trial (Team Time Trial?) Series on Tuesday and team practice on Thursday.
I’m looking to get a 12-25 cassette (my 11-21 is gigantic). Smaller purchases (frame pump, nutrition stuff, new chainrings, new chain) need to be taken care of ASAP, as well as minor bike stuff. I’m also trying to track down a trainer/rollers/both.
My birthday’s coming up (April 22nd, the same day as Three River’s RR) and I’m looking at a Polar CS200cad computer.
I climbed Ridgewood yesterday (average grade of 11%, Gmaps Pedometer told me)… further showcasing why I want a 12-25.
Tuesday looks like 60 degrees, partly cloudy- good conditions for the time trial.
