Jim, Heather and I left Corvallis this morning for Bend. We went out to the stage finish and set up camp about 300m from the line. It was pretty cool to see everybody out there. I got some pictures (Sam Johnson, Levi, Chris, etc) that I’ll post later.
I’ve had this throbbing headache since we got here. It’s pretty much gone now. It kind of makes me nervous to go and race in the hot, dry sun.
Dinner was good. I put some aerobars on (thanks Matt) along with my new Vittoria CX’s (whee!) and rolled around for a little bit. Legs are feeling… okay. Body is a little tired. Head’s doing alright.
My start time is 8:39:40am tomorrow. It’s bedtime.
