I’m Ivar Vong, I’m 19 and sophomore and the University of Oregon. I’m a Cat 3 (woohoo!) (OBRA) and Men’s B (Collegiate). I race for Pacific Power Blue Sky and the University of Oregon. I’m a math/chem major.
I’m the Team Coordinator for the UO Cycling team. It’s a lot of work, but it’s an awesome job. Check out the website, http://www.uocycling.com/ and come out on a group ride sometime! We usually have a team ride on Saturday at 9am from Lifecycle Bike Shop.
My email address is ivong [at] uoregon {dot} edu.

Hey Ivor, great site.
That’s awesome you got a 3’s UG. I’ll be looking for your wheel….
See ya at the races!
Paul
Ivar, I tried to send the following by email, but had some issues:
Ivar,
I have been keeping periodic tabs on the progress of the collegiate season. Not a lot of info on your now nearly dormant blog (which I completely understand since you have attempted to squeeze more onto a plate than can possibly be piled) but I understand that Nationals are coming up in the near future. User.moscow has been my goto resource as well.
In my now outrageously busy adult world a few weeks is very very near. I wanted to touch bases with you for a couple of reasons: First, I wanted to communicate with my uncle to get that all set up. On multiple occasions he has asked about whether the cycling team is coming back again. So I assume that they would like to host again. Second, I want to be able to plan ahead so I can hang out with you guys, support you, and cook you a good meal. I am looking forward to seeing you guys again–especially you and Mr. Kuhns–two of my favorite people.
I hope this email finds you well, occupied, and engaged. Let me know what the deal is.
Luke
